Who founded ONE
A lab that asks everyone else for a repeatable protocol should ask itself first. Here that has names: a doctor and a methodologist review from the inside how things are measured, what can be claimed from those measurements, and where to stop and refer to someone else.

Exercise physiologist, with an MSc in Exercise Science and Health, a second MSc in Clinical Biomechanics and two years of doctoral study in Biological Sciences.
Takes the measurements and reads them: the simulator, the dynamometry, the 3D capture and the power files.
Medicine · Process audit
Medical doctor. She works in pain medicine, regenerative medicine, recovery and biotechnology, and in bioethics and medical and sports law.
Audits the lab's internal processes and marks where what ONE can claim ends and a medical consultation begins.

Sports methodologist, MSc in High Performance and Nutrition from Universidad Europea de Madrid.
Designs the strength and motor work, runs the dynamometry and audits that assessments are repeated under the same protocol.

Almost nobody arrives asking for «a system». They arrive because their knee hurts, because they are about to buy a bike, or because they have not beaten their own time in a year.
Coaching, racing, community and reading athletes directly, from long before there was a laboratory.
Position is adjusted while you pedal, force is measured leg by leg against a fixed anchor, and skinfolds are taken under the ISAK protocol.
A motorised bike that changes geometry while you pedal, so two positions can be compared in seconds instead of with an Allen key.
Cyclists from Europe, Central America and the United States have flown to Bogotá to be assessed, and whoever does not fly works remotely.
No report comes out of an automated template: the person who reads the data is the one who took the measurements and the one who answers afterwards.

ONE CYCLING names the twenty years of coaching and racing; ONE SPORT SCIENCE, the laboratory that came out of them. Same house: coaching, biomechanics and assessment under one roof and one signature.
None of this is looked at in isolation. A strength asymmetry changes which position adjustment applies; a position you cannot hold changes which training makes sense. Protocols, reports and visualizations connect lab work, training and real athlete experience without replacing professional interpretation.
As Scientific Director and Head Coach across multiple teams, he integrates real-time GURU biomechanics, dynamometry for strength and range of motion, MOCAP 3D, ISAK Level 2 anthropometry, sports nutrition (ISSN), power, data science and biostatistics to improve measurement precision, support professional decisions and validate the athlete’s response.
Measuring precisely is not promising certainty. It is being able to repeat the measurement and compare.
Where the laboratory sits
A boutique in Santa Bárbara Occidental, Bogotá, that since 2019 has brought together four independent businesses. A rider who comes up to be assessed can go back down to physiotherapy, to be measured for a garment and to a glass of wine, without moving the car.

ONE CYCLING is the history: two decades of training, racing, community and direct reading of the athlete. ONE SPORT SCIENCE is the evolution into a high-technology laboratory joining science, biomechanics, health and performance. Same house — one names the track record, the other the method used today.
Not for everything. Planning, follow-up and remote performance assessment work from anywhere, and that is the usual route for riders outside the city. What requires being here is what only the laboratory can measure: adjustment under load on the simulator, dynamometry and anthropometry.
ISAK is the international standard for kinanthropometry: it defines the anatomical landmarks, the instruments and the procedure for each measurement, and certifies the assessor by levels. It matters because a measurement taken under protocol can be repeated months later and compared with the previous one; one taken by personal judgement cannot.
Yes. Cyclists from Colombia, Europe, France, Central America and the United States have travelled to be assessed at ONE. The laboratory is in Usaquén, Bogotá, at 2,600 m, and visits are arranged in advance because each service needs a different setup.
